Happy Days and Sad (for good reasons) Days

Throughout our lives we have bad days and really good days. The majority of them are good and happy days. But it is inevitable that we will have bad days. Over the past couple days I had good/bad days. But not bad in the way that you might be thinking. The only reason I feel bad is because I'm leaving my first area Ciudad Real and going to a place called La Gomera in a place called Santa Lucia. The whole place though is called Escuintla. Ive heard its a beautiful place but its a place that is of humble living. I'm okay with that hahah. But im sad to leave my area. At the same time though I am happy because I know the Lord needs me there. My new companion and I are opening the area and he and I will both be senior companions. (HAHA Elder Darling you suck for getting called to be a trainer before I did) hahaha solo bromas elder. But yeah, I'm leaving! I loved this area. We were able to baptize Freddy Mendez on my mom's birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM) and it was super awesome because he was able to take that decision to be baptized.

Anyway I want to bear my testimony of the spirit and the Lord. The spirit is real, and is our constant companion. It whispers to us in a still small voice and protects us from the world. I have written about some of my experiences following the guidance of the Holy Ghost and I testify as a personal representative of our Lord Jesus Christ that he is there and is watching over us. I also have a testimony of our Lord Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven. They know and see all and they have a plan for us. Everything that happens in our lives happens for a reason. What we need to do is accept it no matter what it is because if not, then we lose our faith in Him. Through our tough times ther is always someone we can go to for strength and for comfort and that is our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love all of you who are reading my emails and I implore you to really gain a testimony of this gospel and of the sacrifice of our Brother Jesus Christ.

Te quiero mucho familia y amigos. ¡Cuidese!

  1. I really liked reading and looking at the pictures in this post. It still seems like yesterday that we were listening to him bear his Testimony in Selah. You can feel the love he has for the people in his missions!
    Thank you for sharing!
