Hey everyone!!!!
Hey so I don't have much time left to write because my computer got shut off for a little bit so I'll make this short.This past week we've been finding a lot of people to baptize in this area. But yesterday we were walking and I saw a drunk guy on the side of the ride sitting with his head down. I felt a strong impression to turn back. So we turned back! We met him told him who we were and he told us that he was a drunk that doesn't molest anyone. Anyway we gave him a Book of Mormon and some pamphlets and were going to visit him again because he told us we were a blessing to him and they he wants to listen to us.
Just a couple more thoughts about being a missionary. I don't know how, (well, maybe I know how :)) but it's a lot easier to understand the reasons for things and how I should act in situations. My whole mind has changed, and I don't usually think about myself. I also know that I'm with my companion to help him with reaching out. He was extremely serious and didn't like to talk too much before me. Now he's way different. He told me that I taught him to have confidence and to just talk to people; to be happy and to make good points with people. Don't worry mom, I'm very conscious of how I act because I am a personal representative of Jesus Christ. :) That is a name that holds a very high place in my heart and in the hearts of the people here. It is my duty to uphold the image of Him. For that, I watch my actions. Sometimes we still have weak moments (when we get frustrated with this or that because we're human), but I just keep trying to better myself.
Anyway, I only have a minute left so I gotta go!!!
