The Humblest of Wards

Hey everyone!

I gotta make this email short because I don't have too much time.

The title of this email. One day this week we were with a member. She told us that one of the sisters doesn't like it when we visit her family. my thought was, what the heck? Why? All the members love us here and our visits! 

So asked this member, why doesn't she like it? This is what she told me. She doesn't like it when you visit because you white people come over here from the states and you have money, big houses and cars. You have everything over there. I thought, that's not always true. So yesterday we had a family home evening with that family because I wanted to visit them again. :) We had a fun time, but after we finished I looked at their broken house, their ragged clothes, their dirty children. And I almost cried. I'm actually crying right now. It broke my heart to see the condition that they were all in. I thought, Jesus loves these people and it's my duty to do so as well.

PS: I heard Braeden found a Lacrosse stick! Well, I did too... and I have a ball!
